Let the holidays begin as Cheekwood showcases the sights and sounds of the season with lavishly decorated grounds, artfully trimmed trees, and unique holiday activities. In honor of the Visions of the American West exhibition, it will be ‘A Frontier Christmas’ at Cheekwood. Representing everything from the traditions of the Plains Indians to the unique culture of the original cowboys, each tree brings a bit of the Wild West to Nashville in a new and festive way. Cheekwood is enchanting, entertaining, and educational this holiday season – celebrate with us!

Nothing says Christmas like a traditional evergreen wreath! Join Joan Presley of Geny’s Wholesale Floral in this hands-on workshop to create your own one-of-a-kind live wreath and add a personal touch (with a professional look!) to your holiday décor. All materials and supplies provided by Cheekwood. 

ADULT GINGERBREAD WORKSHOP
Thursday, December 1, 6:00 pm

Plan a creative, “adults-night-out” holiday get-together for you and your friends! Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar in the Pineapple Room Restaurant while you build a one-of-a-kind gingerbread house to take home. Gingerbread kits will be provided by the nationally acclaimed Enchanted Gingerbread Studios.

Create magical memories with your little ones as you learn to decorate your own gingerbread house! Instructors from Nashville’s Enchanted Gingerbread Studios will be on hand to provide tips as you work on your fully edible gingerbread house for the holidays. Upon completion, your house will be boxed to take home safely so it can be enjoyed throughout the season.
