Corporate Events at Cheekwood

Cheekwood is the perfect setting for your corporate event.  From cocktail parties to seated dinners, your clients and employees will experience a truly unique event at Cheekwood.  Contact the rentals department for more information.  We'll be happy to schedule a private consulatation with you and recommend the best facility based on your needs. 

Massey Display Hall - The most versatile of Cheekwood’s event sites, Massey Display Hall is ideal for meetings, luncheons, receptions, or seated dinners. Massey and its adjoining grass terraces provide a changing backdrop of art exhibits and greenery. 

  • Capacity: 400 for a reception / 300 for a seated dinner
  • $2,700 rental fee plus $1,000 refundable damage deposit ($3200 rental fee effective June 1 - November 1, 2010)
  • $1,100 daytime corporate rental fee (9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesday - Friday) plus 500.00 refundable damage deposit

Potter Meeting Room - The Potter Meeting Room is perfect for small meetings, retreats, luncheons, and seminars.   
  • Capacity: 60
  • $550 rental fee plus a $100 refundable damage deposit ($600 rental fee effective June 1 - November 1, 2010)
The Learning Center - Great Hall, Terrace, Courtyard and Special Event Lawn ~
The Learning Center has a warm, rustic yet elegant appeal, combining the original stables and carriage house of the Cheek Estate with a two-story, glass building opening onto a lovely brick courtyard. The former stables have been transformed into Cheekwood’s Contemporary Art Galleries, with a terrace overlooking downtown Nashville. It is a perfect site for a cocktail buffet, dance, or reception. The terrace, courtyard, and special event lawn may be tented at a cost ranging from $800-$2,500, based on size. Music plans must be approved by Cheekwood staff due to the close proximity of residential neighbors.
  • Capacity: 250 for a reception / 225 for a buffet dinner; Catering facilities are limited and large plated dinners are discouraged.
  • $2,700 rental fee plus $1,000 refundable damage deposit ($3200 rental fee effective June 1 - November 1, 2010)
The Learning Center Lecture Room
This room is not available in the summer.  Has screen for overhead projection.

  • $650 full day rental fee plus $100 refundable damage deposit. ($700 rental fee effective June 1 - November 1, 2010)
The Learning Center J.C. Bradford Conference Room
This room is not available in the summer.

Cheekwood Museum of Art - Cheekwood's Museum of Art is ideal for both elegant receptions and small, seated dinners. The museum is a 1920’s Georgian-style mansion, the former home of Leslie and Mabel Cheek. The collections include 19th and 20th century American paintings and decorative arts, as well as outstanding traveling exhibitions. Use of the Swan Lawn for a ceremony with up to 200 guests is available. Weddings must have the approval of the Director of Rentals and Catering and Cheekwood is the required caterer and event coordinator for functions held here. 

  • Capacity: 200 for a cocktail reception / 50-60 for a seated dinner in the Loggia (Capacities vary during the month of Decemeber due to the Festival of the Holidays exhibit).
  • $5,000 rental fee plus $2,000 refundable damage deposit.  ($6000 rental fee effective June 1 - November 1, 2010)

The Pineapple Room Restaurant - With floor to ceiling picture windows, the Pineapple Room Restaurant overlooks the greenery of Cheekwood’s west lawn. The restaurant’s adjoining deck is also available. The Pineapple Room is the required caterer for events taking place in the restaurant.
  • Capacity: 125 for a standing reception with use of the deck (if it rains a tent is required at an extra fee) / 70 for a seated or buffet dinner inside / 100 for a seated or buffet dinner with use of the deck.
  • $750 rental fee plus $100 refundable damage deposit; minimum $500 food and beverage purchase. ($900 rental fee effective June 1 - November 1, 2010)

Rental Information
Hours - Cheekwood is available for wedding ceremonies and receptions after 5:00 pm. The Pineapple Room Restaurant is available after 5:00pm. The Potter Meeting Room and Massey Display Hall are available during business hours for meetings and luncheons. All events must end at 12 midnight.

Insurance - Cheekwood requires special insurance for private events. Please contact Cheekwood Rentals for information about the specific insurance needs for your event.
