Experience the creative process up close as professional artists demonstrate their crafts at your school. Students watch as a piece of paper is transformed into a book or flower; discover how a block of clay is thrown on a pottery wheel to make a bowl; and learn the art of marbling as the mixing of dyes transfer a unique design onto a piece of cloth. These interactive art demonstrations will inspire your students to explore their own creative potential. Craft Outreach is open to six public elementary schools in Davidson, Rutherford, Williamson and Wilson Counties and will take place in spring 2015.
