SCHOOL OUTREACH
Craft Outreach
Experience the creative process up close as professional artists demonstrate their crafts at your school. Students will watch as a piece of wood is turned into a vase, discover how a block of clay is thrown into a bowl, and learn how to mix dyes to transfer a unique design onto a piece of cloth. These interactive art demonstrations will inspire your students to explore their own creative potential. Craft Outreach is open to six schools in Davidson, Williamson and Wilson Counties and will take place in spring 2013.

Featuring topics from composition and technique to plant parts and interdependence, this program corresponds to art, science, and social studies curriculum standards.
