Funded by general operating grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission
• Serves 8 schools (4 each semester) in Metro Davidson County annually.
• Targeted to 4th grade students, approximately 800 students.
• Teachers receive classroom materials for pre and post visit activities.
• Cheekwood’s school coordinator visits each school to meet the students and to introduce the program.
• Students visit Cheekwood and experience art and science in the Museum of Art and Botanical Garden.
