IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Location of Classes
• Adult and children’s classes will be held in the Frist Learning Center at Cheekwood.
• All children should come to class dressed in play clothes with shoes suitable for walking.

Advanced Registration Required
Enrollment in each class is limited and filled on a first-paid basis. Registration is confirmed only after receipt of full payment. We must have full payment 1 week before classes start. Refunds are granted only if notice is received 1 week prior to class time or if the class is cancelled. Register early as classes fill up fast.
We will evaluate each class one week prior to the first day of class. Please register at least one week in advanced, because we determine whether the class will be canceled or continue at this time. You may register by signing up any time online or calling the Cheekwood Education Department at 615.353.9827 Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Payment
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express or checks. If you wish to mail in your payment please send it to Cheekwood Education Department, 1200 Forrest Park Drive, Nashville, TN 37205

Cost of Classes
• Classes vary in price according to the length of class and materials required.
• Members receive a 25% discount on all classes.

Cancellation Policy
Classes/workshops may be cancelled if there is less than 6 students, but each cancellation is considered on a case-by-case basis. We will notify you about a week before if a class is cancelled, and you will receive a full refund.
If you withdraw from a class, you will be required to pay 20% of the registration price.  There will be no refund for registrants who cancel less than one week before their start date. 

Photo Release
Please note that Cheekwood may take photographs of classes for use in Cheekwood publications. Please notify a member of the staff if you do not wish to have you or your child’s photograph taken.

Scholarships
Cheekwood Education department offers partial & full scholarships each session. Call 353-9827.

Snow Policy
When bad weather hits, Cheekwood staff will evaluate the conditions and notify all instructors and students whether or not Cheekwood will be open for business. If Cheekwood is open for business, you will not be notified.

Here are ways to find out if Cheekwood is closed for business:
1) You should call Cheekwood’s main line 356-8000 for a public message, or
2) Watch Channel 4 Snowbird report for information on classes.
