Let the holidays begin as Cheekwood showcases the sights and sounds of the season with lavishly decorated grounds, artfully trimmed trees, and unique holiday activities. This year, Season of Celebration showcases your favorite Christmas carols. From “O Christmas Tree” to “Jingle Bells,” each tree brings a different holiday song to life in a new and festive way. Cheekwood is enchanting, entertaining, and educational this holiday season. Celebrate with us!

Museum Concert Series
Join us in the Museum’s intimate Drawing Room on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 2:00pm to 4:00pm to enjoy the seasonal sounds of some of Nashville’s best choirs and finest musicians. Create festive decorations and family memories at Cheekwood this holiday season. Join us on Saturdays from 10:00am to noon for our drop-in craft program, and stay for cookie decorating in the Learning Center until 1:00pm.

Breakfast With Santa

In between bites of yummy pancakes, you’ll be surrounded by dancing elves, Santa and his friends and colorful holiday decorations. Stop by the storyteller’s corner and listen to your favorite Yule time classics. Adult Gingerbread Workshop

A creative, “adults-night-out” for you and your friends! Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar in the Pineapple Room while you build a one-of-a-kind gingerbread house to take home. Jingle in the Mansion

You will be absolutely dazzled this year! Begin the evening at the beautifully decorated Cheekwood mansion with cocktails and hors d’oeurves and a buffet supper by Kates Catering. Martinis and Mistletoe

Enjoy a night of dancing, drinks and late night eats. Guests can kickoff the holiday season at Cheekwood’s Botanic Hall. The social crowd will enjoy themed martinis, a great band and a festive, contemporary décor. 

Family Gingerbread Workshop

Create magical memories with your little ones as you learn to decorate your own gingerbread house! Instructors from Nashville’s Enchanted Gingerbread Studios will be on hand to provide tips as you work on your fully edible gingerbread house for the holidays. Sparkling Settings Luncheon

Our holiday luncheon was fabulous last year with amazingly creative table displays. Gather a group together, decorate a table and enjoy the day. This year fabulous Gift Baskets and other special surprises will be auctioned during the luncheon—perfectly timed for holiday gifts. And, of course, our Holiday Gift Shop will be open for SHOPPING.
