NASHVILLE, TN. – The early bird definitely catches the worm at the fifth annual Native Plant Sale. Hosted by the Garden Club of Nashville, the annual sale is taking place on Saturday, April 6 at Cheekwood. The Native Plant Sale offers an extraordinary variety of wildflower treasures perfect for local gardens. The sale benefits the Howe Garden at Cheekwood.

The Native Plant Sale is a one day only sale inside Cheekwood’s Botanic Hall and features more than 50 varieties of plants, including wild ginger, Virginia bluebells and celandine poppies. There will also be an exquisite assortment of select native shrubs and flowering trees, which offer gorgeous springtime blooms and brilliant fall color.

Cheekwood’s gardens are showing signs of spring color with purple violas, yellow daffodils, and pink ‘Okame’ cherry trees already in bloom.

The sale begins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and lasts until all plants are sold! Gates open at 9:30 a.m. and Cheekwood’s regular gate admission applies.
